What EDG actually is.
The Enterprise Development Grantis Enterprise Singapore’s main co-funding scheme for SMEs investing in capability upgrades, including AI adoption. Approved projects get up to 50% co-funding of qualifying costs (consultancy, software, internal manpower).
Who’s eligible.
- Registered and operating in Singapore
- At least 30% local shareholding
- In financial position to start and complete the project
- Project must be a genuine new capability, not BAU work
What it funds
The kinds of projects EDG backs.
EDG funds projects that build a genuinely new capability, not business-as-usual. Across Singapore SMEs, that has included work like this:
Customer insight & research
Understanding a new customer segment: surveys, journey mapping, market studies that reshape how you sell.
Digital & e-commerce transformation
New websites, online ordering, click-and-collect, and the IT infrastructure behind them.
Process redesign & automation
Digitalising manual workflows: fewer duplications, less admin time, staff freed for higher-value work.
AI-powered capability
Deploying AI to read, draft, answer, and extract, automating the language and document work that eats your team's week. This is where we come in.
Illustrative project categories drawn from published Enterprise Singapore success stories. Eligibility and funding are assessed case by case. We’ll tell you honestly where yours fits.
60-second check
Find out in four questions.
Quick self-check. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is stored. If it looks like a fit at the end, you can book a call.
Step 1 of 4
Is your company registered in Singapore?
Genzi AI Pte Ltd-style registration with ACRA. Branch offices of foreign companies don't qualify.
What we do
Four steps from idea to reimbursement.
01
10-min eligibility check
On the discovery call, we tell you yes or no. No paperwork needed yet.
02
Scope to fit
We structure the project so its qualifying costs map cleanly to EDG categories.
03
Documentation support
We give you the project scope, costings, and technical write-up your application needs. You submit through your own corporate account.
04
Delivery
We run the project. You claim reimbursement on completion.
An honest disclaimer.
We’re not a government agency. We scope projects to fit the grant’s published criteria, but approval is always at Enterprise Singapore’s discretion. We cannot guarantee yours. We don’t charge you anything for help understanding the grant, only for the engagement we deliver.
Figures here reflect the Enterprise Development Grant’s standard SME support level (up to 50% of qualifying costs) and are subject to the current scheme rules. Singapore’s enterprise grants are being updated through 2026, so we’ll confirm the latest eligibility and co-funding levels with you on the call.
A note on PSG.
The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)funds pre-scoped, pre-approved solutions from a fixed vendor catalogue This now includes a growing list of AI and GenAI tools. Genzi builds custom, so we’re not a PSG-listed vendor. If a ready-made PSG solution fits your need better, we’ll tell you on the call and point you to it.
Ten minutes to know if you qualify.
We’ll ask about your business, your shareholding, and the workflow you want to fix. By the end of the call, you’ll know if EDG fits.
