The SOP it follows
- 1.Log the variation in the VO register the same day.
- 2.Obtain written confirmation of the instruction before proceeding, where possible.
- 3.Identify the trades affected and the basis (added, omitted, or substituted work).
- 4.Price it from the rate library — the QS applies the rates.
- 5.Assemble the claim with supporting evidence (instruction, photos, measurements).
- 6.Submit the claim to the consultant within 14 days of the instruction.
